Go Back 5th of September: Five Women, Bonnie MacDonald, Thelma Hanna, Michelle Orichefsky, Erin Izzard and Stéphanie Simard, moved into St. Peter's Glebe, Ketch Harbour to begin their preparation to enter the Novitiate with the Franciscans of Halifax on October, 4th, the feast-day of St. Francis. Fr. Roberto Donato and Fr. James Mallon blessed the house and prayed to the Holy Spirit to give guidance and discernment to those who dwell in it. 6th of September: Fr. Roberto Donato, Fr. Dariusz Misiolek  and Fr. Joe Hattie presided a Mass of thanksgiving that was celebrated at the women's house (St. Peter's Rectory, Ketch Harbour). Many people from various prayer communities and the Men of the Community of Brother André celebrated with us. A reception followed. We were very happy to see the huge interest and support that all have given to us. Month of September: During the month a close friend of our Franciscan community was busy sewing the habits for the five women and the two men. She did a marvellous job.
